Class Library Time Activities

 All activities will happen during class library times.

Peace, Love, Books, Pajama Party Preview!

Wear your grooviest PJs and grab your favorite pillow or stuffed animal and get ready to preview some of your favorite books during your class library time preview!

May 4th, 5th & 6th 

Tie Dye Dress Up Day!

Dig up those shades, headbands and tie dyed shirts for Tie dye dress up day.

Prize Raffle for each class, one winner per class. No purchase or signup necessary!

Class with the most spirit will win “Groovy Game Time” with Mrs. Witt

Books are Groovy Estimation Game

Work together as a class to help your teacher win $25 in Scholastic Credits for books for their class library!

Teacher List Wish

Thank you for supporting our Montevideo Teachers!

Books are a great end of year gift for teachers.

Books purchased for teachers will be shipped directly to your home and can be dropped off in the "Teacher Books Drop Box" located outside of the front office door anytime during school hours. I will deliver them to the teachers for you!

Please place the book(s) in a bag labeled with your student and their teacher's name.

Your generosity and support are appreciated!

Design a Groovy Book Cover Contest!

Create an original or redesign your favorite book cover using the following:

Standard 8 ½ x 11 unlined paper

Media: Your choice (Markers, crayons, colored pencils, water colors, etc.)

Make sure your book cover is labeled with your name, grade and teacher’s name. 

Submit: Scan or take a picture of your book cover and email it to Mrs. Hock at or drop in box labeled “Groovy Book Cover Contest” located near main office doors. 

All Entries must be submitted by        Thursday, May 5th.

One entry per Student

Winners will be announced Tuesday, May 10th.

One winner per grade!

Surprise Bag will include a book!
