PTA Speaker Series:  Parenting & Beyond with Julie Morgenstern

Wednesday, November 14 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Cal High Theater 9870 Broadmoor Drive SR

Balancing one’s time between raising a human and being a human is not easy.  Conflicting priorities make parents feel divided, stretched thin, and guilty because whatever their focus is in a given moment, they feel like they’re neglecting something else.  Parenting is the biggest, most demanding job on the planet- yet it doesn’t come with a job description.  NYT’s bestselling author Julie Morgenstern will be discussing her book, Time to Parent, to help audiences discover how to systematically tackle the job of parenting.   Register here:

A Message from SRVUSD:  New Anonymous Tipline

The SRVUSD is pleased to announce that it has adopted a new, anonymous online reporting tool through a company called CatapultEMS.  This site-based reporting system is now available on our school website and can be used by any member of the school community to report incidents related to bullying, threats, or other situations that may pose a danger or bring harm to members of our school community.

To report an incident (anonymously or not), please visit the schools’s website and look for the “Anonymous Tipline” button.  When you click the button, you will be directed to fill out an online form that will be sent directly to our school’s Response Team for investigation and resolution.  As always, if it is a life threatening emergency, please contact 911.

Students must feel safe in order to learn.  The Anonymous Tipline is another tool that we are providing as port of our ongoing commitment to create a safe, secure, and healthy campus that allows all students to maximize their learning potential.  We believe that by partnering with students, staff, and parents to take immediate action when incidents impact our school, we can more readily identify and resolve barriers to student success.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the school.
